Finally just before Christmas… after 6+ months of disassembly, cleaning, building, fabricating, painting, painting again, installations, trial and error, it. was. time. Me, my two boys, and my dad loaded it up and took it out.

This is the first time I even got to see the “stance” it would have in the water. The pods did the job perfect. They kept the back end of the boat up out of the water more just like I wanted.

Now it didn’t go as planned.. The motor ran a little rough. Come to find out I needed a new bulb and tank. Which in the grand scheme of things isn’t a horrible idea anyways. I bought it used, and it sat for 6+ months collecting dust and whatever else. We also had to do some tuning at idle speed. It wanted to shut off at idle from running too low an rpm. All in all though, it sat right, it ran (even if not perfect), and it had no leaks! When I took it out of the water, there wasn’t a drop of water in the back of the boat at the plug.
